Lots of “Likes” for Loehmann’s

With that in mind, we’d like to share Loehmann’s victory of increased “likes”, social reach, and brand awareness, thanks to a Friend2Customer-based Facebook promotion.

It’s the store for people who love to save on straight-from-the-runway fashion from today’s leading designers. With 40 stores in eleven states plus the online store, Loehmann’s offers the most exciting discount shopping experience, tailor made for fashion aficionados.

Client Challenge: Loehmann’s teamed up with WE® TV to host a “Grab the Gown” bridal event and sweepstakes. For one day only, people were able to shop wall-to-wall for bridal gowns. As part of this event, Loehmann’s hosted a month long sweeps where fans could enter to win a $1,000 shopping spree, a $1,500 SpaFinder gift card for two, and a $500 gift card plus an autographed copy of David Tutera’s book: My Fair Wedding.

Objective: Use Friend2Customer’s turn-key promotion widget in creating a compelling contest to:
• Expand Loehmann’s existing social reach and brand awareness
• Increase number of Facebook fans
• Generate excitement around the event

Action: Friend2Customer worked with Loehmann’s to create a Facebook promotion (Grab the Gown) with the intention of expanding social reach. When clicking on the contest, entrants were directed to (1) “Like” Loehmann’s fan page, (2) enter contact information, and (3) share the contest with friends. The contest ran during October and was promoted on the Loehmann’s website, through Facebook ads, and using email.

• 9,000 new “Likes” (a 10% increase)
• 15,233 total sweepstake entries
• 12,203,352 total overall Facebook ad impressions
