Page Admins currently have the ability to edit Facebook comments, but what happens when you’ve made a post to your business page and you find an error? Well, it’s stuck there. All you can do is delete it and start the post again, or let it stay. But hopefully, this inconvenience is about to become a problem of the past.
Facebook has been testing the ability to allow admins to edit their posts after they’ve already posted. Those of us who are Facebook marketing veterans could have used this feature years ago, but better late than never.
In the meantime, did you know that you’ve actually always been able to edit a Facebook post as long as it has an image attached? It’s true, all you have to do is click on the date and time it was posted, it will then pull up the post by itself where you’ll see an “edit” button. Click the edit button, change your post and click “save”. Voila, your post is updated.
Hopefully, it will soon be this easy to edit all Facebook posts. No more annoying typos stuck to your business page or wasted time redoing an entire post. The ability to edit a post is one to be on the lookout for, but until then make sure to carefully proofread before you post.
