A national survey of 600 small business owners reveals that 90% are actively involved in social networking sites like Facebook. Almost half of these small business owners believe 25% of their new customers were a direct result of social networking sites. There’s no if, ands, or buts about it…your business needs to have a strong presence in social media to reach and connect with customers.
Conversely, 58% of small businesses either have a Facebook page and don’t think it’s valuable, or don’t have one at all.
